January to February Comrades and Two Oceans quality and speed training
March to May Comrades and Two Oceans specific build up training
June to December

The period after Comrades is a recovery period followed by
a focus on getting speed back into the legs. The focus here
should be on running some solid 10-21km races and looking
at getting the times down.

Toward the end of the year the focus shifts to building a base
for Comrades and Two Oceans before going into the new year.
